The Cyber Senior initiative aims to empower older adults to confidently
navigate the digital world and make informed decisions or seek assistance
when faced with cybercrime.
According to the FTC, consumers reported a
staggering loss of over $3.4 billion to fraud in 2020, with seniors comprising a
significant portion of that figure. We recognize that seniors are an especially
vulnerable group when it comes to emerging and prevalent cyber threats.
Furthermore,
we believe that criminals who target seniors are among the most ruthless and
unprincipled adversaries. By providing support and education through the Cyber
Senior initiative, we strive to create a safer online environment for our senior community.
